WAY FM/Huntsville (88.1 & 89.5) recently joined forces with other local radio and TV stations to encourage listeners to “Light it Up!” This event was a park and pray, social distancing event created to promote unity and support for local health care workers taking place on both Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday from 7pm-8pm. Listeners surrounded the campuses of Huntsville Hospital, Madison Hospital and the Crestwood Medical Center in conjunction with a prayer and worship service.
“Our listeners value and support our local medical workers in these stressful times,” said General Manager Thom Ewing, “They showed up by the hundreds in their cars and made this a very special event.”

KNEO/Neosho, MO (91.7 FM) was recently named the winner of the Missouri Broadcasters Association Public Affairs Program of the Year award for small market stations in Missouri. The winning program is called “This Week In Crowder College” and is a weekly interview program with different faculty, staff, students and alumni of Crowder College. ,
