WBGL/Champaign Director of Business Sponsors Melissa Milbourn announced she is exiting the station. Melissa shares, “WBGL has been a dream job for me. It’s been an opportunity to use a God-given skill set in a godly environment to reach more people for Christ.” Melissa has been with WBGL for nearly 7 years and feels God is calling her to another mission field. Her last day at WBGL will be Friday, February 28th.


U.S. Attorney General William Barr spoke at the NRB 2020 Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday February 26, and commended members of the Christian media for their role in countering the effort to drive religion – “long an essential pillar of our society” – from the public square.

“Thank God we have the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) to counter that effort,” he said. “Since its creation in 1944, it has reached, and continues to reach, people from all backgrounds on a variety of platforms.”
