Moody Global Ministries has broke ground for the construction of the Chapman Center on the Chicago campus. The four-story, 50,000-square-foot building will primarily serve as Moody’s global media center, becoming home to Moody Radio and Moody Publishers. Featuring state-of-the-art work spaces and radio broadcast production studios, the Chapman Center will also serve as a hands-on space for Moody Bible Institute’s Communications students to learn from seasoned professionals.
WJQK/Grand Rapids (JQ 99.3) held its 5th Annual Lift Sit where JQ families make donations to help support the Open Door Orphanage through Paradise Bound Ministries in Guatemala. JQ’s Adam McNutt locked himself in a lift above a highway to raise awareness as well as the fund. This year Kinzie Brinson, (pictured) from sister station WBNK/New Bern (92.7 the Beacon) told stories of orphans. Over 64k dollars to fund the ministry was raised.
