As people felt overwhelmed the week before Christmas, Northwestern Media’s KTIS/Minneapolis focused for a day on prayer, inviting people to call and pray off air. The KTIS staff had opportunity to pray with hundreds of listeners calling as well as numerous requests for prayer arriving online.
KTIS’ Andy Youso said, “I spoke with a listener who had lost her father in November and her mother a few weeks later. When she told me that she was happy that they weren’t going to be apart for Christmas I about lost it…what an eternal perspective!”
In an exclusive report from “Inside Radio” the Religion format, which includes Teaching and Variety, posted the largest increase in U.S. station counts in 2019 with 92 new signals last year. i58:10 Media President David Harms H&H Broadcasting has closed on the purchase of KURT/Prineville, OR (93.7 FM). KURT will serve as the flagship for “Worship 24/7” the internet station launched by Harms in June 2019. KURT serves the Central Oregon cities of Bend, Redmond, Madras and Sisters.
