WNFR/Sanduskey, MI (90.7 Hope FM) has purchased a vacant storefront in downtown Port Huron  and plans to move the station there.  Also moving will be sister station WNFA/Port Huron (Power 88.3). WNFA has been on the air for more than 35 years. The stations currently operate out of Ross Bible Church in Port Huron Township. WNFA Station Manager Brian Smith said they started looking for a new location several years ago.  “Besides a lot of the work that we do in the community through service, concerts events and that kind of thing, bringing business downtown, we wanted to invest a little bit more into the community that we serve,” Smith said. “One of the ways we felt would be appropriate to do that was to find a spot, a location that worked well, and we believe we’ve done that.”

The WORD FM Network adds yet another frequency that went live earlier this month at 88.9 in Pemberton, N.J. — its first in the Garden State.  Check out the story from the Montgomery News on WORD FM’s growth. Click here to read.
