Blake Powers joins KLTY/Dallas for weekend / fill-in on air. Powers was previously with mainstream oldies KLUV/Dallas.
KXBS/St Louis (BOOST RADIO) PD Mike Couchman checks in with HisAir. Mike says, “BOOST RADIO in St. Louis is no longer on KLJY-HD2, KPVR, or KHZR.” When BOOST went to the big full power signal at 95.5 on January 4th call letters were changed to KXBS. (BOOST is also simulcast on KQBS 97.7 and KNBS 94.1.) Nothing is currently airing on KLJY HD2.
Educational Media Foundation has promoted Mike McCall from VP of Donor Engagement to the newly created role of Chief Engagement Officer. McCall joined EMF in August of 2016 to further diversify and enhance EMF’s donor program, resulting in a comprehensive stewardship model and a more connected and satisfying experience for donors at all levels.
“I am honored to promote Mike in recognition of the comprehensive donor program he has created,” said EMF CEO, Bill Reeves. “I am excited to see it continue to grow and evolve under his leadership and through the hard work of the Donor Engagement team.”
In his new role, McCall will continue to report to Reeves and serve as a member of EMF’s Ministry Leadership Team.
Salem announced that Regnery Publishing, a Salem Media Group company, has picked up Senator Josh Hawley’s The Tyranny of Big Tech after its cancelation last week by Simon & Schuster. Accusing Hawley of complicity in the storming of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, the New York–based publishing conglomerate made the Missouri Republican one of the highest-profile victims of the “cancel culture.” Regnery will publish the senator’s book in the summer of 2021.
