Family Stations Have A New PD

Family Stations Inc.based in Oakland, CA has hired Vance Dillard as Programming Director. 

“His expertise and guidance will align our programming with our mission in the most productive ways possible,” said Family Radio President, Tom Evans.

Originally from Ohio, Dillard most recently was Interim Program Director at Strong Tower Media WEEC/WFCJ/Dayton-Columbus-Cincinnati.  Vance exited the PD slot at Salem WFFH/Nashville ((4.1 The Fish) in Novenmbver 2017.  He started radio career in 1967 at WNCO/Mansfield, OH and his first role as Programming Director was with WGLX/Galion, Ohio. In his long radio career Vance has occupied programming positions, in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Tennessee. In addition Vance has experience in corporate brand management, having been responsible for a number of Clear Channel stations out of Atlanta.

Of his new position, Vance said, “I cannot think of any better way to use my gifts and experience than to make a difference with this legendary, Christian-radio ministry.  I am honored to be joining Tom and the Family Radio team.”

Family Stations Inc. is a sixty-year-old media company.

“Family Stations Inc. is thrilled to have Vance on our team as we seek to accomplish the Great Commission,” summed up Evans.

  • Congratulations, Lance, on your new opportunity in the Golden State! Mark Twain once noted that the coldest summer he ever spent was in San Francisco. I can say the same. I hope you enjoy your new station and God blesses your new home.
