Family Radio Announces Changes, Vance Dillard Exits

Family Radio announces significant organizational changes and leadership appointments today. Senior Director of Programming Vance Dillard is leaving his position while Jan Prendergast joins as Director of Finance and Kimberly Wolfe comes on board in the new role of Director of Donor Development.

Vance’s tenure at Family Radio has been marked by significant achievements over the last five years:

-Driving Audience Growth: Under Vance’s leadership, Family Radio has seen exponential growth in audience numbers, particularly in the competitive New York market as evidenced by Neilson ratings.

-Enhancing Fundraising Efforts: His innovative approach to donor development has significantly reduced our financial gaps, bringing us closer to achieving a cash-neutral status and improving our overall fundraising efficacy.

-Revamping Programming: Vance has been pivotal in making our programming more seamless, engaging, and resonant with our listeners’ expectations.

-Curating Our Music Library: His efforts in expanding and refining our music collection have greatly enriched our offerings and listener experience.

-Deepening Audience Insights: Through diligent research and engagement, he has sharpened our understanding of audience preferences, which has been crucial in tailoring our content to meet and exceed listener expectations.

Dillard joined Family Radio in March 2019, after being Interim Program Director at Strong Tower Media WEEC/WFCJ/Dayton-Columbus-Cincinnati.  He exited the PD slot at Salem’s WFFH/Nashville (94.1 The Fish) in November 2017.  His long radio career started in 1967 at WNCO/Mansfield, OH and his first role as Programming Director was with WGLX/Galion, Ohio. 

New team members Jan and Wolfe, whose will steer the financial and developmental strategies to transition  the vision of Family Radio becoming a leading multimedia platform that not only broadcasts but also connects, educates, and inspires the global community.
