Christian Radio / OneChild Visit Domican Republic
Christian Radio stations recently joined OneChild National Director of Partnerships Faron Dice on a trip to Dominican Republic to see the work of OneChild.
“This group was amazing,” says Dice. “We laughed together. We cried together. We worshiped together. We collected content for radio. And, we met amazing children living in extreme poverty and the Child Champions that are serving them!”
According to Troy Miles, General Manager at WJIE/Louisville, “This trip left me in awe of the Holy Spirit and God’s goodness. I was humbled and inspired by the work of the Pastors and Child Champions who are at the front lines. God is doing an amazing work in the Dominican Republic.”
Robyn Sedgwick General Manager of the KTLF Radio Network/Colorado Springs added, “I learned that bringing Hope in Hard Places is more than a slogan. It is truly what OneChild is doing in the Dominican Republic. Every Hope Center that we visited was the foundation for the community, providing focus and stability in an otherwise state of poverty!”
