89.9 The Light/Melbourne New Host Joy Revela

Here’s new 89.9 The Light/Melbourne 12p-3p host Joy Revela. Joy spent the last 6 years with Rhema Media in New Zealand. In addition to her on air work at The Light she will also be involved in producing station digital content. In 2019 Joy won the CMAA (Christian Media & Arts Australia) Award for ‘Excellence in Cultural Influence’  Joy says “I was meant to be the first doctor in the family until I totally tanked my first year of Biomedical Sciences.” Feeling grief, low self-worth and failure during that time Joy says it was in that dark season that, “Christian radio and TV kept me tethered to hope.”
