WRVL “Food For Thought”

WRVL/Lynchburg (The Journey) partnered with Parkview Community Mission’s “Food For Thought” program to provide backpacks of food to 1,000 students. The Journey staff collected food from listeners and filled up the collection bin.

Pattie Silverthorn, Business Development Director at The Journey said, “It’s always a joy helping listeners support a local non-profit who is making a HUGE impact on the community. What’s not to love? It is such an encouragement when listeners show up in droves, every time we give an opportunity to share hope with someone else. Hope is contagious and the one thing everyone enjoys sharing!”

The team also gave away Journey gear with the prize wheel and signed listeners up to win tickets to see Pat Barrett and Josh Baldwin in concert..
