WPER Winter Outdoor Movie Series

WPER/Fredericksburg kicked off its Winter Outdoor Movie Series recently with the showing of “Woodlawn” at the Glasgow Farm Church in Fredericksburg VA.

Listeners enjoyed the movie on the Glasgow’s homemade big screen from the comfort of their own vehicle. (It may very well have been the coldest night so far this year!) Families wore football jerseys and hoodies to support their favorite football team and some even decorated their vehicles for a chance to win a WPER prize package. Many listeners also donated canned goods for the kickoff of WPER’s food drive to help support the local food bank. The WPER team will be participating in the CANstruction competition this year and building something memorable! (Pray for our team…lol)
