Worship 24/7 Adds Another Signal
247 Media Ministries, the parent organization of the Worship 24/7 radio network, has reached an agreement to acquire KTDD-FM from Ocean Station Trust II. KTDD-FM is licensed to Eatonville, Washington and currently airs a Christian Adult Contemporary format. KTDD is a 17kw Class C3 at 104.9 FM.
The new signal will increase the potential reach of Worship 24/7 to over two million people in cities including Tacoma, Olympia, Renton, Federal Way and the entire South Puget Sound region. KTDD-FM will be the second FM signal airing the Worship 24/7 network, joining KURT/Prineville in Central Oregon. Worship 24/7 launched in June of 2019 as an internet-only station and quickly drew a passionate and loyal listener base. People in over 130 countries have tuned in to Worship 24/7 in the past thirteen months, and approximately 200 new people start listening each day through the Amazon Alexa smart speaker platform.
“We are humbled that God has given us the opportunity to add another FM radio signal to the ministry,” says David Harms, President of 24/7 Media Ministries. “We are excited this door opened as we look forward to following God’s design and direction in igniting a passion for God through worship both online and now in the South Puget Sound area.” The transaction of KTDD-FM still requires FCC approval, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year. Jon Yinger of Broadcast Properties, LLC assisted the Buyer in this transaction.
The mission of Worship 24/7 is to “ignite a passion for God through worship.” The radio network airs extended sets of worship music from artists like Hillsong, Elevation Worship, Bethel Music, Pat Barrett, Phil Wickham and more. On-air worship hosts include Christian radio veterans Christina James, Sam Kelly, Tristi Hendrick and more. Programming and Operations are handled by Scott Michaels. In addition to his role at Worship 24/7, David Harms remains the President of i58:10 Media, a radio and ministry fundraising company.
