WMBW Honors Chattanooga Police

In response to all of the violence, both in Chattanooga and around the country, WMBW/Chattanooga (88.9 Moody Radio) Morning Show Host Jason McKay and Listener Engagement Coordinator Meredith Sexton worked with a local printer to create 2 banners to encourage the Chattanooga Police Department. Hundreds of 88.9 Moody Radio listeners shared Biblical encouragement and prayers for local officers and their families all summer long, writing on these banners at various events. Then Meredith delivered the messages to local officers. Police Chief Fred Fletcher said he plans to hang the banners in the squad rooms where officers begin their day.
