WGTS 91.9 & 95.1 Shine FM Team Up for Women’s Event
Over 2,000 women came together recently near Baltimore, Maryland for the “Dare to Be” women’s event with Natalie Grant and Charlotte Gambill. Listeners from both stations were treated to worship songs led by Natalie as well as some of her new songs. Charlotte shared a message on moving beyond the “I Can’t” mentality.
WGTS morning show host Blanca Vega shared, “Charlotte mentioned how God didn’t ask ‘Adam, where are you?’ because he didn’t know where Adam was. He asked to show us how important it is to admit to God where we are (no matter how filthy or guilty we feel) to get us where we need to go!”
“WGTS is a conduit for bringing women together to be encouraged. It gives them a reason to get away from day-to-day life to come together and that’s empowering,” said WGTS listener care coordinator Katherine Semakula.
Both Shine 95.1 in Baltimore and WGTS 91.9 in Washington, D.C. worked together to bring women across the region together for the event.
