WGRC Dwell Orphan Care

WGRC/Lewisburg, PA in conjunction with Dwell Orphan Care and Union County Children & Youth Services collected more than 350 bags for children in foster care and waiting for adoption.

Dave Jones, Station Director of WGRC, noted that when he and his wife Dottie adopted their daughter Sofia, she was brought to the house with her belongings in trash bags and tattered cardboard boxes. Those involved in the collection want to change that, to provide dignity for these kids. The desire is that these kids have a nice duffle to carry their belongings in as they transition homes. WGRC is working to expand its impact in the community by partnering with local organizations on a variety of projects.”
