The Wally Show Now Airing In Africa
WAY-FM and The Wally Show now airing in Namibia, Africa
WAY Media Chief Content Officer, Faron Dice, has announced that “The Wally Show” is now airing on Efm in Namibia, Africa. Efm is a commercial, 24 hours per day, English-speaking Christian music radio station on 91.3 & 91.5FM. Efm covers nearly a half million people.
According to station manager, Kyall van der Walt, “The format of the Wally Show attracts people without preaching at them, yet succeeds in touching the heart. People unknowingly default to Christanese and don’t realize the divide between people grounded in the Christian faith and those discovering it for the first time, causing a disconnect. So really, for us, the Wally Show impacts, yet avoids the linguistic divide.”
WAY-FM President and Founder, Bob Augsburg, added, “This new relationship with Efm is exciting to us, because of WAY-FM’s 2020 Vision, which includes our goal of impacting 3 million people internationally by the year 2020! We don’t yet know how this vision is going to be fully accomplished, but as we have prayed and stretched ourselves, God had continued to bring us opportunities like this!”
