SRN Hosts Possible Debate Moderators

Salem Radio Network hosts LARRY ELDER and HUGH HEWITT are on the list of potential Presidential Debate moderators

On behalf of the Trump-Pence 2020 campaign, former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani just submitted a list of potential Presidential Debate moderators to the Commission on Presidential Debates which includes Salem Radio Network nationally-syndicated hosts Larry Elder and Hugh Hewitt.

Giuliani—in urging the Commission to also add a fourth Presidential Debate to the current lineup slated to begin on September 29th—suggested Elder and Hewitt as potential moderators along with David Muir of ABC News and Norah O’Donnell of CBS News among other journalists the Trump-Pence 2020 campaign would find acceptable as moderators.

Phil Boyce, Salem Media Group Senior VP/Spoken Word Programming, says: “We are so proud to see Hugh Hewitt and Larry Elder mentioned as possible moderators of a presidential debate.”  Boyce added:  “Frankly all of our SRN national hosts are capable of doing this, and these two especially are. We hope they get the nod.”

Hewitt previously served as co-moderator of four 2016 Republican Primary debates co-produced by CNN and the Salem Radio Network; Elder is a frequent guest on FOX News Channel and other national outlets commenting on Breaking News events.
