SOS Radio Las Vegas TSA Workers
KSOS/Las Vegas (SOS Radio) celebrated the reopening of the federal government on by feeding 700+ Las Vegas TSA workers! The TSA team at Las Vegas McCarren Airport worked faithfully for 35 days straight, not knowing when the paychecks would arrive. (This was the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.) The SOS Radio team wanted to encourage its local federal workers by feeding the whole TSA staff for the ENTIRE day! The SOS team provided meals for the breakfast, lunch, dinner AND overnight shifts on Monday, January 28th!
Scott Herrold, Morning Show Host/Program Director of SOS Radio said, “The heart of our SOS Radio family is to let our community know what we love and care for their families. We wanted to celebrate the re-opening of the government with the TSA teammates who kept showing up for work all month without pay! We LOVE Las Vegas!”
