Singing News Radio Network Adds Program

Salem Media Group is bringing the American Gospel Radio Show to the Singing News Radio Network. Additionally, long-time Southern Gospel on-air personality, Rodney Baucom, joins the network as its new mid-day host for the Singing News Radio Network and also as host of the Top 20 Weekly Countdown.

The American Gospel Radio Show is hosted by Gerald Wolfe and Joseph Habedank, and airs Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Multi-award winning Gerald Wolfe, the leader of the highly popular trio Greater Vision (and former pianist for the legendary Cathedral Quartet), was recently elected to the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Joseph Habedank, lead singer for The Perrys before launching a solo career, is a Grammy-nominated and Dove-Award winning singer/songwriter and a two-time Favorite Soloist of The Year in the Singing News Fan Awards. The show features top Southern Gospel performances from the annual National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Rodney Baucom, a 30-year radio veteran and well-known southern gospel on-air personality, has been named the new mid-day host Monday-Friday from 10:00am-3:00pm, and can also be heard as host of the Singing News Radio Network’s Weekly Top 20 Countdown show. “We are excited to have Rodney on board hosting mid-days on the network,” said Singing News Radio Network General Manager Kevin Anderson. “His years of experience in Southern Gospel Radio bring value to the Singing News brand.”
