Salem Media Group Live From Houston
As Labor Day Weekend got under way one week after Hurricane Harvey devastated Houston and south Texas, the Salem Media Group (through its owned-stations across the country, national news networks, and syndicated talk hosts including Hugh Hewitt, Mike Gallagher and others) had raised over $350,000 in donations to non-profit relief organization SAVE THE CHILDREN…with more still pouring in over the long holiday weekend.
The emergency campaign—created at the direction of Salem Radio Division president David Santrella—was lauded by Carolyn Miles, CEO of SAVE THE CHILDREN U.S. who states: “We are so grateful to Salem for this. It has been a tremendous boost to our fundraising and raising awareness that SAVE THE CHILDREN is on the ground and that kids have these special needs.”
