Rhodes Joins Hope For The Heart
Veteran Christian media broadcaster and senior executive Dusty Rhodes joins Hope For The Heart as Vice President and Chief Development Officer. Working closely with founder and CEO, June Hunt, Rhodes will bring leadership expertise to the overall direction of the ministry’s donor development initiatives.
Hunt, who hosts two national radio programs, reflected on the ministry’s commitment to broadcast excellence, ministry impact, and financial sustainability, saying, “We are grateful that God has led Dusty to be a part of our Hope For The Heart team. Whether it’s raising awareness of our “common-sense Christianity” resources or cultivating increased partner relationships, his expertise and passion for ministry will help provide vital counseling solutions to those seeking biblical hope and practical help.”
Rhodes has served Christian radio and media in various roles, first at WPIT-FM in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (now WORD-FM), as an award-winning morning show host and operations manager. Later, he joined WAYF-FM in West Palm Beach, Florida, as its founding general manager, before being promoted to their first chief operating officer. Most recently he served as WAY Media’s senior vice president and chief development officer.
“God has been using June and Hope For The Heart to transform thousands of lives throughout the years,” adds Rhodes. “I’m honored and excited to join their leadership team and help strengthen current support, while also helping the ministry identify new opportunities to impact even more lives.” Rhodes starts his new role in September.
