NGEN Names New PD
KXNG/Houston (91.7 FM NGEN Radio) announces Chris Chicago (Left) is the new Program Director for the station starting Monday, March 20th. Chris will be taking over for Drew Wilson, who left to pursue other career opportunities.
“I believe that the best Christian radio is yet to be done, and I am excited to try new methods and tactics to reach the millennial generation. Chris has been a pioneer in the format and has the pulse on the sounds and style that define this generation,” said Brian Meza, Station Manager at NGEN Radio.
With the launch of their new 50,000 watt, full power FM signal, NGEN now reaches all of Houston.
Chris has been involved in nearly every aspect of the music industry for almost 20 years, and believes that everything he has done up until now, has all been in preparation for this incredible opportunity.
NGEN has also hired Manuel “J Blaze” Garcia from Miami, to the be the afternoon drive host for the station. He will start on Tuesday, March 21st.
