New CCM Coming To Gainsville
A new CCM station is set to debut on Tuesday Jan 2nd. Radio vet Chris Lash says he will launch WERF LP/Gainsville (Next FM) at 105.7 with a Christian CHR format targeting the 18 to 34 demo including the 44,000 students at the University Florida.
Next FM will feature Keep The Faith with Penny at night and Aaron and Dee mornings. Local Pastor Caleb James will handle afternoons and Joe Szymanski is the imaging voice.
This morning at 6 AM Next FM segued into a long syndicated Christmas marathon airing through New Years Day. The Next FM brand was created by Lash and long time friends Caleb James and Joe Szymanski. Lash says plans are to add more stations in the future.
