Lisa Barry To Exit KTIS
After 30 years on the air, Northwestern Media’s KTIS/Minneapolis midday show host Lisa Barry steps down. Lisa was hired on to KTIS full time in 1985 as a radio show producer. In 2007 she moved to middays, where she encouraged listeners in family, faith, and during the stresses and joys of life. Lisa has faithfully served KTIS for many years, and is now moving to Naples, Florida. Her last day on air is September 28th.
Lisa explains her reason for leaving, “Moving to Naples, Florida has been a dream of my husband Ken and I for the last 20 years. The only drawback is leaving 98.5 KTIS, my radio home for over 30 years. My passion for radio is as strong as it’s ever been. I’m eager to take what I’ve learned and channel it into the next generation of broadcasters along with other radio projects and freelancing.”
98.KTIS’ Program Director, Keith Stevens says, “Lisa is a class act. I’m proud of the work she has done as a part of the 98.5 KTIS team – she will be deeply missed by staff, and the Twin Cities community. As KTIS transitions, we are excited at the possibility of who God is calling to fill her position while we continue to reach people for Christ in the Twin Cities.”
