KZTH/OKC (The House FM) & KLVV/Ponca City (My Praise FM) in a partnership with Children’s Cup, recently gave away a mission trip to Honduras. During their annual Pledge Drive the station raised money and helped supply meals to over 2,000 children in Honduras. Before their Pledge Drive even began, one of the prizes for “early bird” donors was a 7-day mission trip sponsored by Children’s Cup. The prize winner Angela Knott and House FM on-air personality Darren “DC” Clonts departed for their trip on May 17th. During their time in Honduras, D.C. and Angela spent time with people that lived in a nearby village while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. They were able to get past language barriers and quickly form relationships that they say they will treasure for years to come. D.C. stated that this life changing event made him realize, “Children’s Cup is doing more than feeding children, they are being a blessing to the whole family as they help to reduce poverty levels, in Jesus’ name.”
