KTIS Welcomes Zach Williams
On Friday, January 12, KTIS/Minneapolis Program Director/Afternoon Host Keith Stevens, and 4000 fans, welcomed Zach Williams to the Mall of America Rotunda in Minneapolis. The concert was free, which allowed anyone visiting the mall to experience Christian music. Zach sang some of his big hits like “Chain Breaker,” and “Old Church Choir.” He also shared some of his testimony between songs. Zach’s music certainly warmed hearts on a frigid night in Minnesota. KTIS fans also had an opportunity to warm the feet of those in need by donating socks to Simpson Housing, a local homeless shelter in Minneapolis. The audience filled over 12 barrels.
KTIS’ Audience Engagement Manager Sarah Hastings said, “As the crowd began to form, it was amazing to see all four levels lined with people looking down on the Christian artist in such a public place. This is one of my favorite concerts we do here at 98.5 KTIS, because it allows us to have a broader reach, and capture the attention of those who may not know Christ.”
