KSWP Back to School Bash

Last Summer KSWP/KAVX/Lufkin partnered with the Lufkin Parks and Recreation Department to help cool kids off in the Big City Wide Back to School Bash. Hundreds of kids and their families came out and enjoyed the Splash Pad at Kiwanis Park along with popcorn, popsicles, sodas, and games that was presented by KSWP/KAVX.

“It’s been so hot and parents are struggling with budgets we wanted to offer a free event at no charge for families to enjoy before hectic schools schedules begin again.” says GM Michelle Ross.

KSWP/KAVX also had a prize give away for two people, Cecila of Lufkin and Karina of Lufkin which included a Family 4 pack to Moody Gardens in Galveston.
