KSBJ Welcomes Drew Wilson as Assistant Program Director

KSBJ/Houston announced today that Drew Wilson will return to Houston as the stations new Assistant Program Director. Wilson takes the place of Troy West who became Program Director in April after the departure of Ty McFarland who exited for KCMS/Seattle (Spirit 105.3) as PD.

Wilson most recently served as WAYM/Nashville (WAY FM) Operation Director.

“I’m excited to have Drew on board as KSBJ’s APD,” shares Troy West, Program Director for KSBJ. “Drew has incredible managerial experience and was instrumental in launching 91.7 NGEN Radio’s new signal 2 years ago. He’s a creative, forward thinking pro who can help move KSBJ into the future.”

Wilson began his radio career with KSWP/Lufkin. Then in 2010 was a part of the NGEN launch in Houston, TX where he eventually became the PD/MD for the station. 

His first day at KSBJ will be Wednesday June 20th.
