KNWS American Family Children’s Hospital
KNWS/Madison (Life 102.5) partnered with American Family Children’s Hospital for the second year in a row in an effort to show love in a practical way. Listeners were encouraged to donate markers for the children staying at the hospital. The hospital staff expressed the need for markers was big, as coloring is an outlet that many children turn to when they are convalescing at the hospital. Markers are used, not only by the patients in art projects, but by the staff as well. Life 102.5’s staff presented the markers at a Valentine’s Day luncheon at the hospital, where on air hosts helped serve food, and helped the children and their families make Valentine’s Day cards.
On-Air Host on Life 102.5, Summer Shepherd said, “we were so overwhelmed, in the best way, by the generosity of this community. Every time we invite our listeners to give, they give in abundance. For many, this drive was personal. The American Family Children’s Hospital has done so much for the community, and the community was ready to give back. Thank you to all who gave and who made this our most successful drive yet.
of course like your website however you have
to check the spelling on several of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to
inform the reality nevertheless I’ll certainly come back again.
There is certainly a lot to learn about this subject.
