KLTY’s Bonnie Curry Inspires Sing-Along

It wasn’t just another rainy Friday morning in Dallas… for KLTY/Dallas afternoon host Bonnie Curry. 

Inspired by those in Italy singing from their balconies during the coronavirus lockdown, Bonnie, who lives in some downtown lofts, organized some folks to open their windows and join together singing Bill Withers song “Lean on Me.” The video of the sing-along has gone viral and received national press. 

Bonnie says she “came up with the idea after watching the Italians sing to each other from their windows. And, knowing many of the residents in downtown Dallas would be self-isolating thought we could do something too.”  Bonnie says she got to know more new neighbors…from a distance… than she has in a year!
