KGGN The Great Diaper Drive

KGGN/Hemet, CA (102.5 The Vine FM) is celebrating the overwhelming success of its recent community outreach initiative, The Great Diaper Drive, which collected a total of 10,761 diapers, exceeding the station’s original goal and making a meaningful impact for families across Southwest Riverside County.

The annual six-week drive brought the community together through six diaper drop locations, made possible by the generous support of local business sponsors including JC Plumbing, WSDM Water, TechBridge Global Services, Urban Air, Uptown Jungle, and Zen Curry and Grill. Forever Lawn also played a key role as the ongoing drop-off location sponsor, ensuring consistent access for donors throughout the campaign.

The final diaper count was announced during 102.5 The Vine FM’s Inaugural Celebration of Ministry Dinner on April 11, held at The Awakening Church in Murrieta, where attendees gathered to reflect on the station’s mission and the power of community generosity. Donated diapers were distributed on Monday, April 13, to two local organizations serving mothers and families in need, Elsinore Valley Pregnancy Resource Center and Birth Choice of Temecula.

“This drive is a beautiful example of what happens when our community comes together with compassion and purpose,” said Chris Thompson, General Manager of 102.5 The Vine FM. “Every single diaper represents care, dignity, and support for a family walking through a critical season.”
