KAXL The Home Cast

While working on potential sites for live broadcasts, KAXL/Bakersfield (88.3 Life FM) tried something different. Life FM launched a campaign for listeners to propose their home as a live remote location, called The Home Cast. Afternoon hosts Matt Pelishek and Aaron Perlman (pictured with winning family) then did live broadcasts from living rooms and dining tables at homes all across Bakersfield.  

“We thought that if we really want to connect with the community, what could possibly be more connected than doing the show live from listener homes?” said program director Matt Pelishek. “The responses were great, both from the families, and from those who heard the broadcasts.”
