SHARATHON AND FUNDRAISER UPDATES

WRVL/Lynchburg  (The Journey) began their Partner Invitation on Tuesday and finished up Friday morning at 10am at 103% of the goal.   The Journey saw 420 new supporters come on board this week.  General Managers Mike Weston said “it was incredible to see the hand of God move and supply the need and then some. We are always amazed at the stories we get to hear during Partner Invitation”.


WNZR/Mt Vernon, a broadcast ministry of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, is celebrating the success of Lifeline 2018, the radio station’s annual fundraiser. Lifeline 2018 was held in late March with a goal of $62,000. This year’s effort has brought in $65,120 and the total continues to rise. Blessed with over 220 ministry partners, the WNZR staff was greatly encouraged and extremely thankful for the community’s support. In addition to on-air fundraising, Lifeline 2018 included a 5K, a special screening of the new movie, I Can Only Imagine, and a service project to a local home for unwed mothers.

WNZR 90.9 FM is celebrating 31 years as Knox County, Ohio’s hometown Christian radio station. With over 30 students involved in the daily operations of the radio station, WNZR exists as a hands-on learning laboratory for the next generation of broadcasters.


KSWP/KAVX/Lufkin met its Sharathon goal last Friday night.


KKSP/Little Rock (93.3 The Fish) PD Steve Marston says, “We just had a record breaking fundraising campaign for Cross International. Our listeners gave $24,600 to help feed 420 adults and children in the Sudan and Kenya.”
