KGGN/Hemet, CA (102.5 The Vine) announces the launch of its second annual “Warm Hearts Coat Drive” on Monday, September 25. Despite the sunny forecast predicting temperatures in the mid-80s for the foreseeable weeks ahead, 102.5 The Vine has a heartwarming mission—to collect coats, even when the thermometer reads over 80°F.

KGGN GM Chris Thompson, emphasized the importance of this initiative by stating, “This time of year, Southern Californians often dig out last year’s jackets and coats from their closets. We’re urging our community to pause before stowing away those coats from past years and check if they are in good condition to help others in our community. Our goal is to be well-prepared before the winter chill sets in Southern California, ensuring that no one has to endure a single day without the warmth of a coat.”
