The “BOOST RADIO” network, based at KXBS/St. Louis (95.5), has expanded to Memphis, launching on EMF’s 96.7 W244BY and 94.9 WWAI-HD2/Bartlett, TN. Gateway Creative Broadcasting operates “BOOST” on EMF-owned translators in several cities, including Chicago, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Portland, and Fayetteville, with plans to expand to Austin, TX, and Lansing, MI.

BOOST PD Mike Couchman tells HisAir, “We’re excited to introduce Memphis to BOOST Radio, and grateful to partner with K-Love & Air1 to reach more souls for Jesus.”

Chris Jolly joins the staff at Hope 103.2/Sydney, AUS. Chris will host afternoons 3-7pm.

HisAir INDUSTRY NEWS FLASHBACK – On This Day Nov 20, 2017

KCMS/Seattle (Spirit 105.3) PD Matt Stockman has been named PD at KLOVE. Matt will join EMF in December. Matt’s career in radio began on the campus of Illinois State University as on air talent and general manager of WZND Radio. After graduating in 1987, Matt made stops at WBNQ, WCLG, WQUT, WZXY, WWCT, and WLMX, before coming to know Jesus as Savior in the early 1990’s. Matts Christian Radio experince includes including J103/Chattanooga, Spirit FM/Lynchburg, VA., 101.1 The One in Nashville, and WMIT/Charlotte. In 2011, Matt left WMIT to serve God for 1 year in a missionary capacity at a Christian radio station in Barcelona, Spain (Onda Paz 93.2 FM). He joined KCMS in October of 2012.
