WLCQ/Springfield (Q 99.7) has hired Myriam Vega as their full time Outreach Director. She oversees station events and our team of volunteers.
WLCQ GM/Pres Nathan Murray tells HisAir, “Since hiring her for this position, WLCQ has been able to be out in our community sharing the love of Jesus more than ever before. One of the highlights is our Pop Up events where we invite listeners to come out, meet the DJs, pick up Q swag, and receive prayer from a local Pastor.”
CMB has promoted Jessica Arrendell from Multimedia Manager to Creative Director. Jessica has been with CMB 10 years.

Salem Media Group has swapped the FM translators for its two Detroit AM stations. Conservative Talk WDTK (1400 The Patriot) has moved to 92.7 W224CC, rebranding as 92.7 The Answer to align with Salem’s other Conservative Talk stations and improve coverage in Detroit’s western suburbs. Christian Preaching WLQV (Faith Talk 1500) now broadcasts on 101.5 W268CN, though with a smaller coverage area due to signal limitations protecting WRVF in Toledo, OH.

This is a remote position. You would be gathering news stories from Montana and Wyoming each morning, Monday through Friday. You then record it for a single 3 minute newscast, which airs during the morning show.

KLOVE debuts a new show to their on air lineup today. “Jeff & Randi” will take the 1-6pm PT shift.
The duo consists of Randi Tyler and Jeff Detrow. Tyler joined KLOVE last year for nights (6-mid) replacing Larry Wayne who announced he was retiring after 21 years at K-LOVE. Larry is still heard on weekends at KLOVE. Tyler previously held positions with KFSH/Los Angeles (95.9 The Fish) and WRVE/Albany, NY.
