Will Salem Radio Network talk host Larry Elder enter the California Gubernatorial recall race? Elder will answet that question next week. Elder has been a vocal critic of Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, saying that everything the incumbent state leader has done lately is “to avoid a recall.”
Professional Members of the GMA will soon be invited to vote in the first round ballot for the 52nd Annual GMA Dove Awards. This round of voting will determine the nominees.
To be eligible to vote, they must be an active Professional Member by Friday, July 9.
July 9: Membership deadline to be eligible to vote in first round ballot
July 13 – 20: Voting period for first round ballot to determine nominees
August 11: Nominee Announcement
August 13: Membership deadline to be eligible to vote in second round ballot
August 19 – 26: Voting period for second round ballot to determine winners

HisAir is saddened to report the passing of inspirational gospel radio founder Margaret Elcock. Elcock founded Trinidad and Tobago Christian radio station Isaac 98.1 FM. She passed on July 4.
In a release the association said, “We honour her memory as she envisioned and established, in 2002, the first 24-hour gospel station in TT. Led by the desire to do much more than host one radio programme (Sounds Glorious on 95.1 FM), she brought into being Isaac 98.1 FM the Promise.
