Samantha Shelby has joined CMB as its new Events Manager. Most recently, she was National Radio Promotion Coordinator and A&R Coordinator for Curb Records for the last four years.
Shelby said, ”I’m so excited to step into the role of Events Manager at CMB! The CMAA 2025 Excellence in Media Awards , has extended the deadline for Australian Christian broadcasters entries to Friday July 4th.

- Innovation in Mission Resourcing
- Beacon Awards (Large and Small Markets)
- Remarkable Contribution
- Compelling Content – Audio
- Compelling Content – Social Media
- Compelling Content – Screen – Documentary, Entertainment, Factual and Learning
Entries will be accepted for any activities, initiatives or projects that occurred January 1st, 2024 to March 31, 2025. Each category will be judged by a panel of independent judges.
HisAir is deeply saddened to report the passing today of Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart at the age of 90. Swaggart started his radio ministry in 1961 and purchased his first station, WLUX/Baton in 1971. Swaggart later launched the SonLife Radio network in the late 90’s which still operates to day with about 80 stations.
In March this year Jimmy Swaggart was inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame as part of their Class of 2025.

HIS Radio/Greenville welcomes WRXT/Lynchburg (Spirit FM) morning hosts Michael (Brown) and Erica (Parkerson) to the Carolina’s. They bring their show to His Radio for afternoon drive in the beginning of August.
His Radio Network PD Rob Dempsey told HisAir.Net, “Michael and Erica are a great fit and will make an instant connection with the listening family. “
On the move to His Radio Erica tells us, “I served at Spirit FM for 3 years; Michael almost 5. We cannot speak highly enough of the PAR leadership and family. We have grown professionally, personally, and spiritually. Our move to His Radio is a God story. We will miss our Spirit FM team with all of our hearts. And now, we are ready to serve the Lord in South Carolina with the amazing team at His Radio! God is on the move”.
