Doug Hannah has exited the Senior Director of Content position at Family Radio/Nashville.
Linnae Young will assume the role of President of Broadcast Media while continuing to serve as Salem’s Chief Revenue Officer. In her expanded role, Young will oversee Salem’s broadcast operations while continuing to lead the company’s revenue strategy. This week Allen Power announced his retirement this Sptember.
Young has been part of Salem for more than 30 years, serving in leadership positions across sales, revenue development, and broadcast operations. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Radio Advertising Bureau and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio (MIW), one of the broadcasting industry’s leading organizations focused on advancing women into leadership roles.
“Linnae has earned the respect of people across this company and throughout our industry,” said David Santrella, Chief Executive Officer of Salem Media. “She knows our business inside and out and has been a driving force behind Salem’s success for more than three decades. Her leadership has made a lasting impact across Salem, and I’m excited to see her take on this expanded role.”

Also effective October 1, 2026, Jeff Reisman will be promoted to Executive Vice President of Operations, where he will oversee operational leadership across Salem’s local broadcast markets nationwide.
During his 22-year career with Salem, Reisman has held a variety of leadership positions, including General Sales Manager, Director of Sales, General Manager of Salem’s Chicago market, Regional Vice President, and Senior Vice President. He has earned a reputation throughout the company as a trusted leader and mentor with a deep understanding of Salem’s local markets and operations.
“Jeff is a trusted leader in our company and has spent more than two decades serving Salem with excellence,” said Santrella. “He understands what makes our local markets successful and has spent years building strong teams and helping people grow. I am confident he will continue to strengthen our broadcast operations and help keep Salem moving forward.”

In conjunction with these leadership changes, Mark Durkin, Senior Vice President, Jeff Mitchell, Regional Vice President, and Chad Gammage, Regional Vice President, will also assume expanded responsibilities supporting Salem.

Family Life Radio (FLR) announce Chuck Tyler as its new music director. Tyler, who previously served as FLR’s program director, will transition into the music director role effective immediately. He will work alongside current music director Bill Ronning, who is set to retire August 28.
Tyler has spent his career in radio, serving in a variety of roles from programming to hosting in major markets including Pittsburgh, Nashville, Los Angeles and Portland.
“I want to thank Chuck for his willingness to step into this new role and for his continued commitment to Family Life Radio,” said Adam Biddell, chief broadcast officer for FLR. “I am also grateful to Bill for his dedication and service as he prepares for retirement.”
During the transition, as FLR seeks a replacement for the program director position, Mike Kankelfritz, director of broadcast content, will continue to lead the ministry’s programming vision, content development and on-air strategy.
After 32 years at Ambassador Advertising Jennifer Perez has accepted the position as Senior Affiliate Relations Manager for Focus on the Family.
Jenifer says, “So grateful that I get to continue working with longtime friends and together, we get to serve our valued station partners. I spent my first week with the Audio team and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead!”

CJLF/Barrie, ONT (Life 100.3) morning co-host Shirley Wolstenholm is getting ready to launch another in a series of children’s books where each one teaches about a different fruit of the Spirit.
This will be Shirley’s 9th authored book where she teaches children on the fruits of the Spirit.
The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music is honoring We The Kingdom with a Pop-Up Exhibit in downtown Nashville. The exhibit is open now and will run through June 20. The limited-time display coincides with the release of We The Kingdom’s latest album, Everything I Thought Was Pleasure, which debuted last week on Capitol Christian Music Group.
“We’re honored to spotlight We The Kingdom during this exciting moment in their career,” said Steve Gilreath, Founding Executive Director, The Museum of Christian & Gospel Music. “Their music has encouraged millions of people around the world, and this exhibit gives fans a chance to engage more deeply with their story while exploring the rich legacy of Christian and Gospel music.”

Way Media has secured The Wally Show to a new multi-year deal for it’s Contemporary Christian Music network. Wally recently celebrated his fourteenth year with WayFM, where he has hosted morning drive since 2011.
“Wally brings a unique style and believability to the CCM format. His energy and passion for WayFM’s ministry is unmatched, and we’re proud to extend this relationship with The Wally Show and our audience for years to come,” said Ron Harrell, VP/Brand and Content.
Wally leads The Wally Show with co-host Betty Rock and producer Gavin from WayFM’s network studios in Franklin, TN where they create the morning show and the daily “Aftercast” podcast.
“I’m thankful to be at a place that gets my sense of humor and also allows me to challenge people’s perspectives on a daily basis. WayFM has always been the best place to do that in this format,” added Wally.
