A group in Huntsville, TX is raising funds to get their new station on the air. Spirit Media, INC was awarded a license for KHSP, an LPFM at 94.3 in Huntsville. The FCC granted the LPFM license on 12-19-24.
From the station social media pages, “Spirit Radio FM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and your donation helps us build a community-focused Christian radio station led by local, diverse stewardship right here in Huntsville. Whether you can give once or set up a recurring donation, every bit makes a difference.”
No word on when the station plans to go on the air, but for now it can be heard online HERE.
KLRC/Siloam Springs is still celebrating some of it’s best numbers in the recent Nielsen Audio, and made Valentines Day special for listeners.
KLRC PD Mark Michaels says, “Saturday we served 50 single parents with free oil changes as a way to show some love around valentines.”

Condolences to WCIE/Tampa (The JOY FM) PD and morning show co-host Dave Cruse who’s wife Emilie passed away yesterday after a long battle with cancer. Please keep Dave and his children, Jaymes, Nathan, Daniel, and their families in your prayers. Emilie will be greatly missed by her family. But her absence will be felt by all who know and love Dave.

Capitol Christian Music Group VP, National Promotion checks in with updates on his team. As of January 1st Elizabeth Brock (pictured) has been moved from Manager to Director, National Promotion. Kenny shares, “I’m so proud of the continued growth of Elizabeth inside of our company and the passion she brings to serving our Capitol family of artists as well as our outstanding partners in Christian music broadcasting.” Also on the team are Rachael Hession, Manager, National Promotion; Christina Kosters, Manager, National Promotion who joined the team in August and Becca Zagorski, Coordinator, National Promotion.
