WDJC/Birmingham PD Justin Flores checks in with HisAir. He says the WDJC morning team with Russell P (Wall) and Jessica (Borkland) have made such an impact for Jesus in Birmingham that they excitedly accepted an offer to add afternoon drive to their daily schedule. Live a total of 8 hours daily.
Justin tells HisAir, “These two have shown professionalism, truthfulness, and a willingness to try this and they are doing it! Their morning show is called Joyful Noise, where the theme is to wake up with a heart of worship and a mindfulness of God, preparing us to get on with the Lord’s day. Afternoons have been named “The Afternoon Jolt” where they are like that JOLT we need to push through those afternoon projects and wrap up the workday and get home. JOLT is also an acronym for Jesus Others Life Together. It is a running theme in their shows already, but as morning is light and fun, afternoons will deal with heavier areas of life, in addition to the fun factor. One thing that these two are known for is that they always have the Cross in view and redemption is a goal in all they bring on air. We appreciate your prayers for them, as they may not say it, I know, it’s not easy to bring that Spirit filled, loving fun factor, 10 hours a day!”
Saturday Mornings and Afternoons with “best of” material from the previous week.

“To be recognized as the Best Music Radio Station by Orlando Magazine’s readers is such an honor. The fact that we never asked any of our listeners to vote for Z88.3, yet they did so, is such an amazing blessing and reflection of our mission,” Z88.3 President Jim Hoge said.
“For Christian music to make such an impact in our community, where we strive to be a light in a dark, harsh world, can only be done by the grace of God. We give all praise and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for our continued success and outreach.”
