Giving Design LLC today announced the launch of Legacy Design for Radio℠, a comprehensive, plug-n-play planned giving platform created for Christian radio ministries. Developed in partnership with Christian radio executive and fundraising strategist Dave Stephens (WCVO/Columbus 104.9 the River), the new white-label solution enables stations to establish a professionally managed legacy giving ministry in weeks instead of years.
For decades, Christian radio stations have faithfully encouraged listeners to invest in ministry that changes lives. Yet many stations have lacked the expertise, staffing, and resources necessary to offer a complete planned giving program that serves listeners while building long-term financial sustainability.
Legacy Design for Radio℠ was created to change that.
The platform provides everything a station needs to launch and manage a professional legacy giving ministry, including:
- A fully customized white-label Legacy Giving website
- A branded online Will Writing platform that allows listeners to create a legally valid will
- Twelve months of professionally written planned giving articles and educational content
- A dedicated Fractional Planned Giving Officer providing strategy, donor support, and ongoing coaching
- Live, virtual estate planning workshops that walk listeners through writing their will in an educational, encouraging environment
- Professionally designed graphics, promotional materials, suggested on-air spots, email content, and marketing resources to help stations successfully launch the program
The platform is already producing measurable results, demonstrating the impact a professionally guided legacy giving program can have for Christian radio ministries.
Within the first six months of implementation, the platform’s inaugural partner, Spirit 92.9 (St. Cloud, MN), has already documented nearly $250,000 in confirmed estate gift commitments.
“What impressed me most wasn’t just the platform, it was the partnership,” said Kelly Corbett, Associate General Manager of Spirit 92.9. “Giving Design walked alongside us through every step of launching the program. My husband and I even completed our own wills using the platform, so I can confidently tell our listeners how simple and valuable the experience is. Having that level of support has made all the difference.”
Unlike traditional planned giving programs that often require years of development, specialized legal knowledge, and dedicated staffing, Legacy Design for Radio℠ offers a fully managed solution that allows stations to begin serving listeners almost immediately.
“Every Christian radio station encourages listeners to leave a legacy of faith,” said Dave Stephens. “This program gives stations a practical way to help listeners care for their families through simple estate planning while also creating the opportunity to support the ministries they love for generations to come. It’s not about asking for gifts. It’s about serving people well. It’s been a blessing to partner with Giving Design to develop this program and now make this resource available to our listeners across the River Radio Ministries Network starting this Fall.”
Legacy Design for Radio℠ arrives as nonprofit organizations prepare for one of the largest intergenerational wealth transfers in history. By providing listeners with trusted estate planning resources in a ministry-focused environment, stations can help families prepare for the future while creating opportunities for lasting Kingdom impact.
The platform is completely white-labeled, allowing each station to present a seamless branded experience while Giving Design provides the technology, expertise, coaching, content, and ongoing support behind the scenes.
Legacy Design for Radio℠ is now available to Christian radio stations nationwide.

Inside Radio’s latest format count reports Religion has more than doubled Country as the leading radio format.
Stations airing religious teaching, hymns, and other faith-based programming have added 71 outlets, a 3.3% increase. Since the start of the year alone, the format has grown by 40 stations, or 1.8%, according to Inside Radio/PrecisionTrak’s monthly station counts. Since then, religion has steadily widened its lead over the now second-ranked country format.
The gap has grown from just 22 stations in February to 74 stations in July. Since April, religion’s advantage has expanded each month, increasing from 39 stations in April to 48 in May, 65 in June, and 74 in July.
