Congratulations to WCSG on another #1 rating period for Dec Jan & Feb. Not only is the station #1 Persons 12+ with an 8.6 share,

KHPE/Eugene, Corvallis, Salem (Hope 107.9) welcomes industry veteran Steve Sunshine to the on-air lineup. Steve is voicetracking nights and Saturday mornings for the station.

WBHY/Mobile (Power 88) welcomes Kris Graves as their new morning host.
Kris says, “After spending 30 years in the radio broadcasting industry I felt God was telling me to take a break and recharge. So for 7 years I ended up working even harder in the landscape industry but God gave me the rest I needed and allowed me opportunities to minister to others in many ways. As an answer to prayer, I am now able to resume working on-air at this awesome radio station and serve God at the same time. I look forward to presenting Today’s Christian Music over the airwaves of Power 88 and sharing a little bit of how God has blessed me.”

K-LOVE’s purchase price for the station will depend on the closing timeline: $4.85 million if completed within six months, $4.6 million if within 6-12 months, and $4.35 million if it takes longer. Double Helix will retain the station’s office building. If the bankruptcy court requires alternate bids, K-Love will receive a $350,000 break-up fee plus up to $300,000 in expenses. Competing bids must be at least $650,000 higher than K-Love’s offer, submitted within 21 days of the sale motion, with an auction by April 16 or a court-determined date. K-Love will have the opportunity to raise its bid.
KLRC/Fayetteville (90.9) plans to launch it’s new station KURM/Siloam Springs (Real FM) at at 100.3 FM in NW Arkansas tomorrow.
The online station playing (Pop & Hip Hop) will adopt new call letters KRLY and launched in September of 2017.
KLRC APD Ansen Bayer will serve as Program Director and Afternoon host for 100.3 Real FM. “We are thrilled to bring 100.3 Real FM to the airwaves of Northwest Arkansas,” Bayer said. “This expansion will help us reach new listeners in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, and parts of northeast Oklahoma and southwest Missouri, all in service of KLRC’s mission to share hope in Jesus with as many people as possible.”

WCIC/Peoria announces the appointment of Rick Smith to Program Director and on-air weekday host. Rick has worked for WCIC and sister station WBGL/Champaign for more than 15 years as Lead Network Engineer.
Station Manager Joe Buchanan says, “Rick has been an amazing asset to us over the years. His love for God and people, his commitment to excellence, and his understanding of both programming and engineering will make him an incredible PD.”
