KTIS/Minneapolis, along with generous donors, recently showcased the resilience and courage of 12 families by extending heartwarming acts of kindness during the Christmas season. Each family was nominated by a KTIS listener. Through the Christmas Blessing initiative, recipients received assistance that ranged from fulfilling last wishes to providing essential support during challenging times.  From sending a terminally ill 8-year-old boy on a memorable trip to Florida, to aiding a single mother in need of housing and rent, each family demonstrated courage, strength, and hope.

“There aren’t enough words to describe the honor it is to walk alongside our Christmas Blessing families,” said Amy Mulvihill, 98.5 KTIS’ audience engagement manager. “God’s hand was evident in each story told. We are so thankful to the friends of the ministry that made this happen.”

You can watch and listen to many of these stories online HERE.

WKAO/Ashland, KY (Walk FM), part of the  Positive Alternative Radio family of stations, welcomed Steven Curtis Chapman to the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland on Friday, December 8th.  More than 1,200 people attended the event. Walk FM serves Ashland, as well as Huntington and Charleston, WV.

KVNE/Tyler is helping local families through their new Christmas Encouragement program which helps anyone who is experiencing a difficult moment in their lives.

KVNE Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Bailey says, “We (have) donors that gave specifically to this effort and wanted to bless others in our community with any tangible needs that they might have,” Bailey said. “So we put together a nomination form online, and we asked people to go on and nominate people that were really facing monumental hardships.”

Prayer request from our friends at TWR – As we all prepare for a peaceful Christmas time, hopefully with our loved ones, let’s not forget those who lack peace amid war. There are quite a few in our Europe and CAMENA regions that are ongoing, such as the Russia-Ukraine war as well as wars is Syria, Yemen and Israel. Please join us in praying for peace to come and suffering to end.

We received an urgent prayer request from our team in Ukraine. Please pray.  A new wave of mobilization is underway, and more Ukrainians are being called into active military service, posing new dangers to the team. So, as they prepare, pray for protection.

Also, a few days ago, a rocket landed in the garden of one of our team members in Ukraine while they were sleeping in their house.  Praise the Lord.  No one was injured.
