NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller has been recognized as a top Christian leader supporting Israel on the annual “Israel’s Top 50 Christian Allies” list published by the Israel Allies Foundation.

“NRB has been a profound supporter of Israel throughout its history, and I am pleased to have cultivated, strengthened, and advanced partnerships between Christian communicators and the Jewish people as NRB’s President & CEO,” Miller said. “This recognition from the Israel Allies Foundation is a testament to NRB’s effectiveness in this area and the importance of this issue for Christian leaders.”

This week marked 25 years since air talent Ceci LaBarge walked into WJQK/Grand Rapids (Joy99) and asked for a job in radio broadcasting.

WJQK PD Tommy Dylan tells the story, “She wore a sandwich board, where Tommy Dylan was broadcasting, which said, “Honk if you want Ceci to work in the mornings”. A few days later, she was hired to host mornings with me. Since then, she has worked every daypart at JOY99!

Christian Radio host Joni Eareckson Tada of Joni and Friends is among the 2023 Christian Women of Distinction awardees presented Sep 22 at a special event at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC.

The “Christian Women of Distinction” award is bestowed annually upon ten individuals who have exhibited outstanding leadership, unwavering dedication, and exemplary service within their specific fields and communities

WBNH/Pekin, IL is having a free listener concert featuring Laura Story on Friday, October 13th to celebrate its 35th anniversary on the air. WBNH first went on the air December 15, 1988 broadcast the Gospel to Central Illinois.

Steven Kay expands his duties at KKHT/Houston (100.7 The Word)  from production to station announcer afternoons from 3:30-6:30 pm.

Konnect Radio/Stalybridge UK held a special listener event for the official opening of its new and bigger studios. The station relocated from studios in Denton in Manchester to a more spacious and new facility in Stalybridge.

HisAir FLASHBACK –  10/5/21 Andrew Leuthold is now the Station Manager at Moody Radio/Florida. Andrew replaces Pierre Chestang who retired at the end of last month to become the full-time pastor at The Bridge Worship Community in Valrico, Florida. Andrew Leuthold served as Moody Radio/Florida Operations Director, and co-host of Music for Sunday for the past 9 years.
