The December Nielsen PPM release is complete… Look for Holiday 2023 PPM’s due 1/23.

CRISTA Media stations KCMS/Seattle (SPIRIT 105.3) and KWPZ/Bellingham (PRAISE 106.5) both held one-day end of year fundraising events the final week of 2023. And the listeners responded in a huge way. SPIRIT ended the day at 116% of the fundraising goal, while PRAISE finished up at a whopping 141%.

Kenneth Hill’s Information Communications is buying WBEJ/Elizabethtown, TN (AM 1240 and translator W300CC at 107.9 FM) for $370,000 from CB Radio. Hill currently owns CCM WHGG/Kingsport (Love 97.3).

Houston Christian Broadcasters has filed to purchase KBAN/De Ridder, LA (91.5) from American Family Association.

The Moody Bible Institute is buying WHRD/Freeport, IL (106.9) for $64,000 from the Northwestern Illinois Radio Fellowship.

iHeartMedia and EMF are swapping (no cash) translators in Gulfport, FL (Tampa) W233AV at 94.5 FM and the Albuquerque K251AU at 98.1 FM going to EMF. In the deal iHeartMedia gets W279AQ at 103.7 FM/Mascoutah, IL (St Louis) and W266CJ at 101.1 FM/Beachwood, OH (Akron).
