Fundraiser Report – WPOS/Holland, OH (Proclaim FM) gm Becky Vassar tells HisAir “Proclaim FM just came through our Spring Sharathon 2026. Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24. Our Goal was $125,000. We ended at noon on Friday April 24 at $125,880!”
Ken Mayfield announces his retirement from The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). Mayfield has served in the role of programming and content manager for The Billy Graham Channel, on the Sirius XM channel 460, since June 2022.
Mayfield has spent 39 years in Christian radio experience, including previous positions at KLOVE and His Radio, and as General Manager of WRCM/Charlotte. He has also served as Communications Minister of First Baptist North Spartanburg, SC.
Mayfield has also been heard weekends on the air at BGEA’s WMIT/Asheville (The Light FM).
K-LOVE Inc has promoted Bethany Venable to Communications Manager. Bethany joined the ministry in late 2024 as a Communications Specialist, bringing experience from higher education, public health and government industries.
In her new role, Bethany will continue building communication systems that keep their team connected, supported and aligned with their mission.

The broadcast, presented as a parody of the upcoming White House Correspondents’ Dinner, included comments by host Jimmy Kimmel regarding First Lady Melania Trump. During his monologue, Kimmel stated, “Our first lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have the glow of an expectant widow.”
