The ongoing NAB Show in Las Vegas marks its hundredth edition, showcasing the progression and revolution of broadcasting throughout the years, along with the latest trends, technologies, and services available to television and radio stations. NAB Executive Vice President Chris Brown emphasizes the significance of this centennial year, stating that it’s an ideal occasion to commemorate the industry’s achievements and, more importantly, to anticipate its future direction.

WAYJ/Fort Myers (WayFM) Station Manager Tom Sullivan has been promoted. Tom is now GM over Huntsville and all WayFM Alabama signals, as well as Fort Myers, Tallahassee and Panama City.
Tom told HisAir, “I’ve been blessed to work with great team members and awesome listeners in Florida. Now I get to begin working with the wonderful Alabama team and their faithful listeners as well in the cool, booming Huntsville area. I really am blessed BIG TIME!!!”
Tom has been with WayFM over 9 years now, and started in December 2013.

KWFC/Springfield, MO celebrates its 54thnniversary on the air TODAY. KWFC first went on the air in 1969 from the Baptist Bible College Campus. Radio Training Network (RTN) purchased KWFC in 2015. The station adopted the Southern Gospel format in the 1980s and was named 2013 Southern Gospel Radio Station of the Year by the Southern Gospel Music Guild.
