WRVL/Lynchburg (The Journey) PD/mornings Kenny Robinson announced his soon retirement today. Kenny’s last day will be this Friday.
WGTS/Wash DC (91.9) Evening Show Producer Mercedes Rich has exited the station. She joined WGTS in June 2023. Previously she was with WRVL/Lynchburg (The Journey).
Mercedes says she’s on the way to a new opportunity which hasn’t been disclosed as of yet.

Friday night (3/21), KAMB/Merced CA (Celebration Radio) completed its spring fundraiser and met its goal of $80,000, raising $80,312. KAMB welcomed more than 220 listeners as they renewed their support or became first time partners with the station. The event was hosted by the KAMB team, with on-air support provided by Chris Lemke and Jack Robertson.
KAMB station manager, Chris Grant, told listeners, “To say we are grateful would be an understatement. We praise the Lord for his continued faithfulness as we trust and obey his leading.”
Lemke, who works with KAMB on an ongoing basis, added, “Even with a more challenging economic landscape these days, KAMB experienced its best response in at last two years. First and foremost, thanks to the Lord for his favor, and congrats to the team for their work and commitment to the listeners.”
KAMB serves the entire central valley of California and parts of the central California coastline with a blend of adult CCM and biblical teaching.
EMF’s KYLA/Fountain Valley, CA (serving Orange County) has adopted the Spanish Christian format Radio Nueva Vida. Previously KYLA had programmed Air1, which is now heard on KAIA, (formerly KFSH).
Also, EMF is acquiring KPSO/Spokane (106.5) from Liberty Broadcasting System.
WCVO/Columbus (The River) listeners are voting for their favorite Christian artists & bands in it’s River Madness. All during the NCAA March Madness tournament listeners are picking the top Christian artists and bands in brackets posted on the station website HERE. Also, one lucky winner will receive an incredible grand prize with 4 VIP Passes to Rock The Lake and $100 to the River Fan Store.
Southern gospel songwriter Dave Clark is recovering after suffering a heart attack last week. He successfully underwent surgery to place stents in two clogged arteries. He has since been released from the hospitial and is recovering at home. Please lift Dave up in your prayers.

American University is selling WRAU/Ocean City, MD (88.5) to Atlantic Gateway Communications, owners of WGTS/Wash DC. Selling price is reported to be $650K.
WRAU is a 50kW Class B covering much of the Salisbury/Ocean City market. It will join an already crowded dial of CCM stations including WNKZ Pocomoke City MD (The Bridge from WKNZ/Harrington, DE) and KLOVE on 92.1 WLBW Fenwick Island DEand 105.5 WLSW Salisbury.
